Scotia Plant experience continued growth in different market segments with Fourth Resource Management recently taking delivery of a new Doosan 225 to support the predicated 2012 increase in waste recycling. The Doosan 225 will go straight into work at their Edinburgh plant.
Forth Resource Management Ltd was founded in 2002 and initially offered a contract shredding service, although the founders were product-orientated from the outset. The first two sites opened during 2003 at East Fenton in East Lothian and Braehead Quarry on the West side of Edinburgh.
With heavy investment in modern, efficient and high capacity machinery over the last 3 years, FRM now operates several composting sites over Southern Scotland processing over 60,000 tonnes of green waste per annum.
